The Riding School is open 7 days a week.
Lessons are by appointment only and can be arranged by calling Jeannette on 01274 639390.

Lesson times depend on the availability of the horses, volunteers and instructors. We will accommodate you if we can.

School/Centre groups should book and pay half a term in advance so if you are considering starting to bring a group at the beginning of the new school year in September you must contact Jeannette before the end of term in July to book your slot.

We recommend half hour lessons to start with. Hats and boots are available to borrow by RDA riders at no extra cost.
We operate a strict weight limit. No-one weighing more than 12 stone will be allowed to ride. Children must be age 4 or over.

Most lessons take place in our indoor arena. The arena was built only three years ago and is very well equipped with a well maintained sand base, a ramp (suitable for wheelchairs) to facilitate easy mounting as well as a sturdy mounting block for more physically able riders.
Occasionally, at the instructor’s discretion, lessons may take place in the fields.
